The Temper Trap to headline at Splashy Fen

Impi Concept Events has announced that Australian rock band, The Temper Trap, will headline at Splashy Fen in Underberg over the traditional Easter weekend from 13-16 April 2017.

The Temper Trap is an award-winning band that has sold over one million albums worldwide, received 150 million streams on Spotify, created a number one album and performed on the stages of Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and now Splashy Fen.

With new music from their latest album Thick as Thieves and their three global number one hits Sweet Disposition, Fader and Love Lost, the crowd is in for a musical treat.

After its re-launch earlier this year, the 2016 Splashy Fen Revival introduced fans, both old and new, to a venue redesign, a line-up of international and local acts, and a unique festival programme.

Local acts

The Splashy Fen 2017 Phase One Acts include some of South Africa’s favourites: The Springbok Nude Girls, Jack Parow, December Streets and Desmond and the Tutus; plus 100 more acts to be announced in the months leading up to the Easter-weekend music festival.

In addition to the existing four stages, 2017 will see the inclusion of a Treehouse Stage and musical performance for every taste.

“In 2017, we’ll have yoga sessions, daily trail runs, meditation sessions, cooking classes and a Splashy Fen restaurant, where hungry fans can book a table for a seated meal. We’re determined to make the whole experience an awesome one that the whole family can enjoy, and which appeals to our broad spectrum of fans," says Impi Concept Events business manager, Stu Berry.

Early Bird Tickets

Early Bird Tickets are available on the Splashy Fen website: www.splashyfen.co.za at the price of R620 per person for the full four-day festival access. This offer is valid until midnight on 9 October 2016, thereafter General Access tickets will be available for R765 via the website.
