    Rage Festival 2016: Phase 2 lineup

    Rage Festival, a youth music and lifestyle festival set to take place in Durban, Ballito and Umhlanga from 26 November, has announced its Phase 2 international and local lineup.

    International lineup

    In Phase 2, the international lineup kicks off with a Top100 DJ in 2016, over one million plays on Soundcloud and more than 10 years in the business, Brazil’s ALOK will take to the Sound Factory stage with his techno-influenced beats and house music groove. Hailing from Spain, Sons of Maria will bring their deep, tech house to the Sound Factory along with Brazil’s Shapeless duo to mix styles and deconstruct musical patterns. Key figures in the Brazilian electronic music scene, RDT, Israeli Class A along with France’s Boogie Vice will also join the Rage Festival stage this year.

    Local lineup

    Joining the massive local lineup is Chunda Munki, AKA, Timo ODV, Grimehouse,PH Fat, Pascal and Pearce, Das Kapital, Funky G, Kyle Cassim, Pop Art Live, Crazy White Boy Live, Amigo, Bombsquad, Trademarc, Sliqe, Nate Shugga, KDC, Huckfinn, Hendrik Joerges, Guy Herman and many more.

    The Phase 1 international and local lineup included TroyBoi, Vintage Culture, Brynny, Ghost Rider, Niskerone, Kyle Watson, Trancemicsoul, Vimo, Capital, Chrizz Beatz, Jay Roberts, Dean Fuel, Mogey, Kyle Worde, Cinnimin, Essential Groove, Mr Green, Rikay, Erebus, Kollective Kulture, Pimp Squad, Chris Taylor, Vin Groovin, Syzo, Ryan Stylz, Royal K and Ray Squared.

    Attendees may expect The Sound Factory, which houses four stages, 26 club nights across the east coast, with more than 90 major international and local artists. Two weeks, one passport and a lifetime of memories at Rage Festival South Africa.

    Rage Passports

    With just two months to go before Rage takes over the KZN coastline, the Black Passports are already sold out, leaving only Platinum and General passports. These are limited so it’s fastest Rager first.

    General Rage Passports cost R950 each and Platinum Rage Passports cost R2,650 each.

    Passports are not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Attendees need to be 18 at the start of Rage on 26 November 2016 to be granted access to the festival and venues.
