Country Bird CEO resigns

Jeff Wright has resigned as Country Bird Holdings (CBH) CE after five years at the helm‚ the poultry producer said on Friday, 31 May 2013.

Wright will be replaced by Marthinus Stander as CEO with effect from 1 July.

Stander has held senior executive positions at Pioneer Food Group (PFG) and Rainbow Chicken (RBW)‚ operated a KFC franchise for four years‚ and until recently was a consultant for the Shoprite Group (SHP)‚ focusing on their Quick Service Restaurant brand.
