In 2009 Cape Town was rocked by one of the most innovative extreme sports events ever held in South Africa - the Pro-X Games. International and local athletes, fans and media watched in awe as death-defying stunts were performed, records were broken, live bands and dj's played, and the sickest tricks shown to a stunned audience over two full days.
This year's event will again take place over two days with the qualifying rounds happening on Saturday, 6th March followed by the highly anticipated final games on Sunday, 7th March; expect globally recognized athletes pushing themselves to the ultimate as they reach for the Gold. Riders in the final will be judged on best trick, biggest air, speed and style, and spectators will have the opportunity to see big air tricks the likes of nothing they have seen before. Prize money and sponsor hampers will be up for grabs for the most daring and skilled rider over the course of the weekend.

The 2010 Pro-X will also feature the following events

FMX, BMX, SKATE, WAKE, MTB TRIALS, SUPERCROSS, TRIALS, MUSIC FEST.
Some of the best BANDS and DJ's South Africa has to offer will entertain the crowds on Saturday evening from 6pm to 2am and this year the Pro X organizers have kindly arranged camping facilities for those who would like to stay over.
The expo side of the event is sure to blow your mind as it will play host to top sports and clothing brands, as well as other crazy gimmicks that are sure to keep you entertained as well as amused for the weekend. Get down to Pro-X to find out more.
