Taj Cape Town launches VIP membership programme

Loyalty programmes abound but more often, than not, provide any real value or an effortless way of cashing in on rewards. While not strictly a rewards programme, The Taj Cape Town has announced a membership programme that actually makes sense.

"The programme offers a wide choice of benefits and privileges for members across the various amenities our hotel has on offer, at a membership fee that offers great return on spend," says Willie Williams, director of sales and marketing. "Taste by Taj" VIP members will receive unlimited personal complimentary dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner at any of the hotel outlets, namely Mint Restaurant, Bombay Brasserie and The Twankey Bar.

"Whenever you dine with at least one other person, your proportional total of the food bill will be complementary", Williams continues. "No matter how often you dine with us during your 12-month membership, your equivalent of the food bill is complementary.

The aim of the launch of this very special initiative is to reward the local business and professional community with a club designed to offer them unbeatable value throughout the hotel with benefits from restaurants to rooms and the spa.
