Music news Bloc Party are headline act at Joburg's In The CityHaving recently been announced as headline act for Rocking The Daisies, Bloc Party will be fulfilling the same role at In The City, the debut of Joburg's new concert on Friday, 5 October, 2012 at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, Johannesburg.  Three top South African acts will also be supporting the multi award-winning band on stage. But you are just going to have to wait and see who they are. Organisers are releasing a limited number of tickets and a general pass is R265 (limited availability). If you are seeking something special, VIP will cost you R700 and includes a separate entrance, a raised special viewing area and complimentary drinks and snacks for the duration of the show. If for any reason the tickets are not sold out the gate price will be R450.
