Durand directs next Jack Parow videoAfter his first music video for Jack Parow, Cooler as Ekke, director Duvan Durand's has made a music video for JP's current hit Dans Dans Dans. The video takes the viewer Underground into the pit of Jack's lair. Produced by Cape Town production company Groundglass in conjunction with MK and Metropolitan Republic, and conceptualised by Durand. The rest of the Indiana Jones-esque plot, well, you need to just see it for yourself! The view-rate on YouTube for both videos is testament to their success, and not only in South Africa, but across the globe too - even if there they aren't quite sure what JP is singing about! In five months Cooler as Ekke has been viewed 565 000 times, and in six days Dans Dans Dans 37 000 times. A formidable editor Dynamite comes in small packages and we believe that, when it comes to director Durand, this is spot on. Not to be confused with the 80s' band of similar name, this soon-to-be notorious director is Hungry Like the Wolf. And he's a force to be reckoned with. He is also a formidable editor, and does commercials and virals. In JP's words: "Hy's nie spasties. Hy's fantasties. En hy is in die moeder f**ken huisie!" Groundglass se huisie!
