Summer Concerts at D'AriaThe D'Aria Summer Concert Series 2009 will bring you some of the best SA musicians on stage at a breathtaking new venue, together with the best wines and delicious picnics on the lawn till sunset.  The D'Aria Summer Concert Series will bring you five outdoor concerts on the huge plush lawn in front of D'Aria's wine cellar. A brand new stage is specially being built for the concert series. Concert goers can bring their picnic blankets and baskets along for a tranquil afternoon of wine valley relaxation, while enjoying only the best wines and food on sale. This will be the biggest summer concert series that the northern suburbs has ever seen.The artists * Sunday, 22 November: Robbie Wessels and Bok van Blerk - R120 Gates open 12am, show at : 4.30 to 6.30pm * Friday, 27 November: VanFokKingTasties - R100 (Van Coke Kartel, Fokofpolisiekar, aKing and Die Heuwels Fantasties) Gates open 6pm, show at : 7 to 11pm * Sunday, 29 November: Laurika Rauch and Luna Paige - R120 Gates open 12am, show at 4.30 to 6.30pm * Sunday, 6 December: Steve Hofmeyr - R120 Gates open 12am, show at 5.30pm * Sunday, 13 December: Christmas Concert and Market - R70 Gates open 12am, concert at 5.30 to 6.30pm The concert series will provide top entertainment for the whole family, young and old. This is a prime opportunity to experience the best of the Durbanville Wine Valley in one amazing package of the best music, beautiful scenery, good food and great wine. New date for Fynproe Festival The Fynproe Festival that was planned for 7 November will now take place along with the Christmas Concert and Christmas Market on 13 December, which will be the highlight of the Summer Concert Series. Concert goers will here have access to a wide variety of wine stalls, as well as the best food and gift stalls where you can do all your Christmas shopping for the forthcoming festive season.
