Fundraiser showcases American fashion designerIan Renner, a New York designer of unisex and men's clothing, will be putting on a fashion show this Friday, 29 January 2010, at the American International School in Constantia, Cape Town. The show is a fundraiser for the school and tickets are on sale for R100. Seating for the event, which starts at 6pm, is limited so it's advisable to book in advance to ensure a place. People in the industry have referred to Renner's designs as "witty" yet wearable. Known to employ traditional concepts in a non-traditional way, Renner was recently quoted as saying, "Since we have to wear clothing, why not have some fun with it? So men, put down your uniform".
