Multi-brand jeans store at Cape Quarter

20 Nov 2009 08:36Submit a commentBizLike
The new Rivet Jeans store is in the new extension of the Cape Quarter on 27 Somerset Road, Green Point, only minutes away from the Cape Town CBD.
Rivet is the first multi-brand jeans store for men and women in the district. The look of the store is an eclectic mix of the old and new. Brick walls from the original old buildings that lined Somerset Road have been faithfully restored, adding a warmth and sense of place unusual in a retail store. Updated with modern fittings, space and light permeate and the well merchandised product is easy to navigate.

All the key elements

“What we're offering are all the key elements: washes from super dark or light black to the palest acid washed blue denim, vintage looking jeans - new, just made to look old with holes, bleached and frayed edges. All the latest shapes will be in store: skinny, bootleg and boyfriend,” said the owner, Trevor Burger, of his summer 09 buy.

Take your pick from the hottest brands: Levi, Sissy Boy, Diesel, Guess and Pepe and fashionistas will also soon be able to own “Rivet” jeans when Burger launches his own label. These small runs of good-quality fashionable jeans ensure a level of exclusivity for those who like being a little different.

Loyalty club

And unique to Rivet is a loyalty club offering you 15 percent off your jeans purchase every time you shop and for as long as you are a member.

Summer 09 at Rivet includes a range of footwear and denim-friendly separates to complement the jeans. Choose from the Adidas originals, Converse and Puma.
