IMCO engineering & construction opts for IFS integrated enterprise system
Kuwait and Qatar based engineering and construction IMCO has chosen to implement solutions by global enterprise, South African registered company IFS Applications, to streamline project and contract management and other business-critical processes, says ITweb.
The contracts include licences and services worth approximately R14 million, IFS said in a statement, reports ITweb IMCO offers engineering and construction services throughout the Middle East to various industries, including oil and gas; power generation, transmission, and distribution; as well as water and wastewater infrastructure.
IMCO plans to use IFS Applications to create a fully-integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system combining project and contract management functionality with HR and local payroll capabilities, according to ITweb
