Economy not creating enough jobs

South Africa's economy is not creating enough jobs despite initiatives such as the Growth, Employment and Redistribution (Gear) plan and the Accelerated and Share Growth Initiative for South Africa (Asgisa) according to the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Sacci), reports Times Live.
Chose Choeu, president of the organisation told Times Live that both Gear and Asgisa may have bought some development to the country but had failed to do much to eradicate unemployment.

He says that the latest initiative, the New Growth Path also seemed unable to create jobs even though the fundamentals of South Africa's economic policy were right.
