Somalis take another ship in Gulf of Aden

The IOL report says that vessel is owned by Elmira Tankers and was captured as it sailed from the Suez towards India. A Somali pirate named Khalif confirmed the attack and said that the tanker will anchor near the shores of Garad.

Piracy in the Gulf of Aden is costing the world economy billions of dollars a year and shipping companies are being forced to pay enormous ransoms to get their crews released, and vessels and freight
