Music Network 2012 showcases SA's top talent

The annual Music Network event returns in 2012, as it once again showcases South Africa's top talent to some of the international music industry's top professionals.

Taking place at the Tanz Cafe in Fourways, Johannesburg on 26 and 27 October, the two nights will see great acts ISO, Tailor, iScream & The Chocolate Stix, Chris Letcher, Kinky Robot, Desmond & The Tutus, Josie Field, December Streets, Jeremy Loops, Captain Stu, The Anti Retro Vinyls and Lindiwe Suttle, showcase their talent to a panel of music industry greats.

The Great Escape

Great news this year, is that The Great Escape next year will host a South African event, which will involve the British Council. Four or five local acts will be selected from the Music Network events to attend The Great Escape in 2013 and perform at the South African Showcase event. The British Council will be involved in profiling our selected local artists in the UK and build awareness.

Music Network was created by Breakout Management director, Damon Forbes, to showcase local talent to key international music professionals and create opportunities for local talent to be showcased on international platforms.

Gauteng fans can be part of the audience this year, as the Music Network events will only be taking place in Johannesburg. Book your tickets at www.tanzcafe.co.za.
