#OneShow2018: Grace Dawson's judging pick of the day
The One Show and Art Directors' Club's judging took place on location on Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic from 11-24 March 2018. In order to keep the rest of the world intrigued and informed, they shared selected judges' picks of the day throughout the judging process.
“It’s something that really interested me in terms of what product design can do to solve genuine problems.”Hamburg’s Jung von Matt AG brought together something young Berliners hate — Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), the city’s public transportation system — with something they love: limited edition sneakers. This led to the creation of BVG x Adidas Originals EQT Berlin, a must-have pair of kicks that also serves as an annual transit pass.
Grace Dawson, a member of the ADC 97th Annual Awards Product and Packaging Design jury and director of brand for Jones, Knowles, Ritchie NY, was wowed by the concept and selected “The Ticket Shoe” as her pick of the day for cool work she saw while judging.
