On 2 March, 2012, EFC 12 will take place at Carnival City for a mixed martial arts event at which the main bout will be Jeremy "Pitbull" Smith attempting to dethrone current middleweight champion Garreth "Soldierboy" McLellan.
EFC Africa 11, which takes place at the Coca-Cola Dome, Joburg, on 10 November, 2011, has 12 bouts scheduled as well as one or two surprises in store to showcase Africa's top talent. Details of the final mystery fights will be available on efcafrica.com in the next few days.

Wheelchair Tennis South Africa (WTSA) has announced the South African team for the forthcoming ITF World Team Cup today, 16 March, 2011. The event will be held at the University of Pretoria Sports Grounds from 25 April to 1 May, 2011, its first time in Africa.
