South African design and décor doyenne, Laureen Rossouw has been appointed as new editor of décor magazine, ELLE Decoration, it was announced yesterday, Wednesday, 25 November 2009.
NEWSWATCH: It looks like a number of community TV stations around the country will be forced to shut down if the experience of Cape Town's CTV is anything to go by, reports IOL, which also reports that the head of the SABC's formal education unit has died, apparently as a result of a domestic dispute. The SABC has responded to the The Star newspaper article ‘SABC's R400m 2010 ruse', refuting allegations in the article that the corporation has used the World Cup as a means to avoid an interdict aimed at overturning a questionable R400 million contract, and that the SABC does not have a broadcast contract with FIFA.
