The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications put out a recall last week on Dettol disinfectant liquid and Domestos germ-killer. But before you drag every last bottle of handwash and toilet cleaner to your local store for a refund, it turns out the products recalled fall into a grey area... That is, the products affected have been found to be a grey import from the UK. See the
Dettol and
Domestos statements for more info.
In other news this week,
a new venture between SA's Amabubesi Holdings and an Australian online retailer has created a trade and wholesale marketplace where excess inventory, returned and refurbished goods, and other hard-to-sell items can be listed for sale. It's Going, going, gone!
And last but certainly not least, we've announced the
winner of the GoPro in our MyBiz Profile reader competition.
Have a great week!
