While I get over my shock of forking out over R30 on a Valentine's card that I probably could have made for less than a tenth of the price, the CEO of Educo Africa, Trevor Johnston, is looking to spread a little love in his own special way this week. Regarded as the 'first Coloured South African to climb Mount Everest', Johnston will be taking fundraising to another level - that being from the roof of the SABC building in Sea Point, Cape Town. Johnston plans to spend the week on the suspended portaledge with the aim to raise funds and awareness for the Educo Africa On the Edge campaign to help SA youth from teetering over the verge into lives of gangsterism and crime.
