I did a photography job recently for the Economic Development Department in Cape Town and they had a brief, but it must have been someone else's as nothing on it was correct.

Getting paid was another story altogether.

I agree more agencies should look at getting behind Gay advertising.

Especially Gay African advertising.

The only Gay advert doing the rounds in South Africa that I know of is that FNB radio ad and that sucks balls.

Interesting read and perspective. Thank you.

I actually questioned the relevance of email marketing with someone from Vodacom on twitter yesterday as I don't believe in it as I think it has had its place and time.

According to them, "...email marketing works well, especially with brand narrative and great UX and that it is very underrated as there is a superb ROI."

That being said, shortly after I received an email from a certain local FX company and the header of the email read, "I'd love to meet you!"

I replied

Hi *Zinhle, thanks for the email.

I'd love to meet you as well.

Kindly send me a photo of yourself, one which best shows off your assets, and if I think you are hot then we can definitely hook up!
