I currently work for Jasco Enterprise as a project manager, managing multi-projects varying from size and sometimes varying in their nature as well. And combining my experience from my current job and my previous jobs, I have experience with dealing with both internal and external clients.
During my time at Absa where I was working as a Programme coordinator for 2 of the Platinum programmes in Absa Financial Services, Group IT. I received a number of awards in recognition for well executed projects exceeding client's expectations.
I am comfortable and understand the SDLC and BCL processes, project implementation processes and management; and the project management tools (Ms Office, Ms Project and SharePoint) end to end as well as the project guidelines and policies.
I also have a portfolio of events that I have managed successfully personally, with recommendations from the clients. The PMBOK definition of a project is that it is a 'temporary group activity designed to produce a unique product, service or result' and this I believe definitely includes events.
Career Highlights:
Organizing and implementing successfully to the end the JCC Mother's day event for 2013, within the agreed schedule, scope and budget.
Winning an award for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling the project team move project without any issues and within budget and scope.
Managing a project for creation of a central booking system for the Khulani project's war room and thus becoming the first boardroom to be booked on SharePoint within the whole campus / office park (270 Republic Road).
Winning an award for up to date project office audit documentation (SDLC) on the Project management tool (HP PPM and SharePoint).
