Logging cases on CRM, troubleshooting and achieving high level on first call resolution using the tools like Active Directory, Citrix console for monitoring users, Cacti or Nagios for monitoring the Diginet lines, MTN console for monitoring and uncapping ADSL's, Attix5 console for monitoring backups. Remote support using Bomgar, VNC and Teamviewer. First line support for Accpac and Ms Dynamics AX
3G troubleshooting: Vodacom and MTN.
INTERNAL SUPPORT:
Setting up of machines (Laptop and desktops) for new user's e.g. Windows installations XP,VISTA,Windows7 & 8, MS office 2007/2010,2013, Server 2008 R2 and 2012 with Hyper V(Install server roles on separate servers, Create alerts on Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager and monitor servers, Monitor servers via Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager, Connect server and perform administrative actions on it, Encrypting a drive using Bit locker, Assign a IP address to a server, Enable remote desktop connection, Create admin users in active directory server, Install updates, Connect it to the Internet, Connect to the server via Remote desktop connection, Deploy new server using sys-prep, Mirror or create and image of a server boot partition, Install applications, Install Active Directory Domain services using DCPROMO, Join a server to the Domain) and MS Lync, setup Lotus Notes and other software required, backup and data transfer, Updating the asset register and cascading of the machines, setting up of email accounts on mobile devices, Mail migration, handling the majority of hardware issues presented to the helpdesk, including laptop, desktop. Perform other duties and activities as assigned, or as responsibilities and workloads dictate.
Server admin-R21 development environment
? Monitor backups. Install and configure Attix5.
? Monitor server disk space.
? Initiate and administer change control.
? Administer active directory accounts.
? Ensure server availability and accessibility, arranging External IP, RDS license etc.
? Manage license, by making sure that servers are activated.
? Ensure that windows updates are installed.
