Pink High Tea at The Twelve Apostles in celebration of Women's Month

In honour of women and remembering the thousands of women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa will yet again celebrate Women's Month with a special 'Pink High Tea'. The Pink Tea costs R195 per person and will be served in the Leopard Bar throughout August.

Guests may enjoy a host of delectable pink treats to mark the occasion. With a selection of sugary options, even the sweetest tooth will be satisfied - indulge in freshly baked Strawberry scones with strawberry cream, Pink velvet cupcakes, Strawberry macaroons, Rose mousse, Red wine caramel, and of course Bea's famous cheesecake, served with forest berry gel.

Meanwhile, chocolate lovers will enjoy the Chocolate brownies coated with pink chocolate and Chocolate éclairs with berry glaze, all of which will be accompanied by the finest selection of fragrant teas and coffees. Savoury balance will be provided in the shape of delicate finger sandwiches, including Smoked salmon with cream cheese, Chicken mayonnaise with toasted almond and Roast beef with horseradish and rocket, as well as the traditional Egg mayonnaise and Cheese and tomato varieties.

The Twelve Apostles Hotel's Pink High Tea will be served daily in The Leopard Bar from 10:00 to 16:00, throughout the month of August. Contact restaurant reservations on 021 437 9029 or az.oc.seltsopa21@stnaruatser to book.

The Twelve Apostles' Pink High Tea will also be available throughout October 2015, in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with R10 of each tea stand sold going to the Cancer Association of South Africa.
