Shanduka Black Umbrellas wins NBIA award

Shanduka Black Umbrellas has been awarded the 2015 Dinah Adkins Incubator of the year award for a General and Special Focus Business Incubator, by the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA), which advances business incubation and entrepreneurship.

Every year, the NBIA provides thousands of professionals with information, education, advocacy and networking resources to bring excellence to the process of assisting early-stage companies. The NBIA serves more than 2100 members in over 60 nations.

"We're absolutely elated that the enterprise and supplier development work carried out by Shanduka Black Umbrellas has received international recognition through the NBIA's Dinah Adkins Incubator of the Year - General and Special Focus Award. The 29th National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) awards will take place in Denver, Colorado (US) from 26 to 29 April, where the award will be presented to Shanduka Black Umbrellas COO, Seapei Mafoyane and Shanduka Foundation Executive Director, Donné Nicol.
