    New venue for Music Exchange

This year's Music Exchange, to be held from 24 to 26 September, will be held at a new venue: the GrandWest Casino, Cape Town. It opens with a VIP, by invitation only, launch event on 24 September.
    New venue for Music Exchange

The preceding two days will see GrandWest's live music venues, the likes of Market Hall, Roxy Revue Bar, Hanover Street and Jackson Hall, filled to capacity with key local and internationally successful players in both the film and music business. Personalities all keen to share and help grow South Africa's rich and diverse talent pool with relevant thought leadership and direction each and every delegate will absolutely benefit from.

From multiple showcases at all of GrandWest's venues, through to formal presentations, workshops, panel discussions and open forums, Music Exchange will deliver an intensive and inclusive two-day programme intended to have delegates leave with the requisite tools to help shape and positively influence their future commercial success. Not only within their local reality, but geared towards taking their talent and expertise to the world.

    Empower, edify and entertain

Over the two days, the annual symposium of the industry's finest strategists, marketers and musicians will get to share and engage in lectures and collaborative breakout sessions, all geared to empower, edify and entertain at every turn.

Diverse subjects covering every aspect of the African and global entertainment economy will be unpacked and shared by the very best in their respective disciplines. The importance of arts and culture, insights into international trends, working in Africa, marketing, multimedia distribution mechanisms, right through to rights protection and how to be seen and heard in a local and global market will all be covered.
