Final line-up for Durban International Blues Festival

The annual Durban International Blues Festival, taking place at Wilson's Wharf from 14 to 16 October, 2014, features an extensive line-up, with new artists such as international guests Donna Herula (US),Charlie Love(US) and Raphael Imbert (France) who will be performing with Durban's hot favourite, The Reals, as well as some older faces, including the long-awaited Blues Broers and their Cape Town rivals, the Boulevard Blues Band.

One new band to look out for is Durban's newest all-lady blues band, Cinnamon Blue.

This year's 10th birthday celebratory programme runs from Tuesday, 14 to Sunday, 19 October and was devised by Programme Director Will Wallace. It features a formidable line up of local, national and international artists including: Sea Level, The Gloucester Blues Project, Sebastian Goldswain, East Coast Blues Band, Rob Thompson, Natasha Meister, the newly formed all-ladies Durban blues band Cinnamon Blue, Nik and Vuyo, and Bobby and the Dynamites. Other top-class musicians show us what they've got at the annual Fender evening, which as usual takes place on the Wednesday.

Raoul and Black Friday are back by popular demand as are Black Cat Bones, The Reals (featuring French guest artist Raphael Imbert), Ant Cawthorne-Blazenby, Will Wallace, Keith Fordyce, and the formidable Barry Tompson.

Tickets are available from Computicket now and are all R130 for the paid for evenings of 16 to 19 October, which will again conclude with the Blues Summit at 7.30pm on the final evening. Season tickets are R400 for all four shows.
