Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive PR Manager with a minimum of +7 years' experience in public relations, media relations, digital PR and influencer marketing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, leading integrated communications campaigns, building strong media relationships and delivering strategic communications solutions that drive measurable results.

The role requires a strong understanding of traditional PR, digital communications, content creation, influencer marketing and stakeholder management, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced agency environment.

Key responsibilities

Client management

  • Manage day to day relationships with assigned clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Lead client meetings, status updates and campaign planning sessions.
  • Ensure all client deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.

Public relations and media relations

  • Develop and implement strategic PR and communications plans.
  • Identify and secure media opportunities across print, broadcast, online and podcast platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers and media stakeholders.
  • Draft media releases, media pitches, opinion pieces, speeches, briefing documents and Q and A's.
  • Coordinate media interviews, media events and press conferences.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide analysis and reporting.

Digital PR

  • Develop digital PR strategies to increase online visibility and brand reputation.
  • Secure coverage across digital publications, blogs and online platforms.
  • Support content amplification through owned, earned and shared media channels.
  • Monitor online conversations, trends and opportunities relevant to clients.

Influencer marketing

  • Experience with working closely with influencer teams to develop and execute creator campaigns.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend influencers aligned to client objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Stay informed on influencer trends, platform updates and best practices.

Campaign management

  • Lead integrated communications campaigns from strategy through to execution.
  • Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
  • Manage timelines, budgets and campaign deliverables.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare post campaign reports.

Team leadership

  • Review work and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.

Business development

  • Support proposal development and new business pitches.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
  • Contribute strategic thinking and ideas to client growth plans.


Requirements

Essential
  • Minimum +7 years' experience in public relations, communications or corporate communications.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Strong media relations network.
  • Proven experience managing PR campaigns and client accounts.
  • Experience in digital PR and online reputation management.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and creator campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience working on consumer, corporate or financial services brands.
  • Experience managing integrated PR and influencer campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media and content marketing.
  • Experience using media monitoring and reporting tools.
