Role / Job Responsibility Summary:
o Having 12+ years of experience in SCM - Purchase and Logistics, Actively involved in Purchase function including Processing of Purchase negotiations, Stores /Warehouse Management, Bills Processing and Preparing note for approvals & purchase order's in ERP (SAP & Oracle).
o To plan, coordinate and ensure dispatch of finished goods to the designated sites / warehouse on time and in good condition.
o To coordinate with vendors, for timely supply (Machinery, spares, Materials, Aggregates and other materials).
o Good Experience in logistic /Transport concepts for safe and on time deliveries.
o Good Knowledge in stores/ Warehouse management, including inventory & damage control.
o Machinery purchases for various road projects under supervision of our Management & G.M. Procurement.
o Cement & steel procurement for various projects in Infrastructure.
o Finalizing Suppliers for purchase of various construction machinery, according to Plant & Machinery requirement.
o Preparing note for approvals & purchase order's in ERP.
o Payment advices to accounts (Proforma, Intrim and final payment after complete receipt of materials / machinery in good condition at site), Bill processing (after commissioning, Bills processing for vendors).
o Arranging 3pl transportation /logistics for machinery / materials.
o Ensuring Internal Clients (Sites, P&M Department & Logistics) satisfaction to the highest level, by coordinating / passing information on machinery /materials delivery status and receipt condition.
o Communicating extensively with Vendors to enable smooth functioning of the system.
o Post order correspondence.
o Visiting sites for inspecting Stores & machinery on behalf of procurement
o Follow-up with accounts for Vendor/supplier payments. Ensuring timely deliveries and coordination with Customs clearing agents for import documentation and for delivery schedules purpose
