Lesley designs and facilitates dialogue, learning and change processes. She is passionate about sustainable development, social innovation, personal mastery and participatory leadership.

Lesley is founder and managing director of Impact Hub Johannesburg, a co-working space and accelerator for social entrepreneurs. She is also an Impact Hub Association board director, representing a network of over 40 hubs in major cities around the world. Lesley further serves on the Advisory Council of AIESEC at the University of Johannesburg.

Her work has led her to convene or participate in workshops and immersions across Europe, South America and Africa. She has also lived in the United Kingdom. In 2011 she was selected onto the Mail & Guardian list of Top 200 Young South Africans and in 2009 she was selected as one of sixty young global leaders on a BP Antarctica Expedition focusing on Climate Change.

Prior positions:

• 2007 - 2013: Cofounder of Africa Plus Plus Consulting and the New Ideas for Africa forum;
  
• 2006 - 2010: Director of Pioneers of Change;
  
• 2005: Served on the national steering committee of Young South African Women in Dialogue, founded by the former South African First Lady, Mrs. Zanele Mbeki;
  
• 2002 - 2006: Worked at the Gordon Institute of Business Science under the leadership of (Governor of the Reserve Bank) Prof. Gill Marcus for a unit called Policy, Leadership and Gender Studies where she created Young Professionals Forum.
