New Delhi, 17 June 2010: Bharti Airtel Limited ("Bharti") today announced that it has appointed The Brand Union to manage the brand migration of Airtel into Africa. This follows the completion of Airtel's acquisition of Zain Group's mobile operations in 15 countries across Africa on 8th June 2010.
The Brand Union will be working in conjunction with Ogilvy Africa in a specialist Pan-African business unit, 'Team Airtel', which will be exclusively dedicated to Airtel across the continent with its existing network of offices, delivering integrated marketing services.
