Entertainment public relations experts Tuned In Publicity has appointed Mike Savage as radio campaign manager. Savage, who has a professional background in the radio industry, will be handling the submission of new music to radio stations across the country.
"Radio plugging is important in any artist's career and it is vital that it is handled correctly and the music is presented in the best possible light to music managers and play list compilers," said Tim Hill, publicist and brand manager at Tuned In Publicity. "His inside knowledge on how radio and the rest of the music industry align themselves will assist in placing singles where they will receive the best possible chance of being play listed."

Guidance by radio veterans

Savage started off a career in radio at campus level on UCT Radio and the University of the Free State. He then moved to Mpumalanga where he worked under the guidance of radio veterans Kevin Savage, Tony Murell and Dave Walters and was involved in both producing and presenting for MPower FM in Nelspruit. Most recently, he was awarded the role of producer for Martin Bester Drive on Jacaranda FM.

Tuned In Publicity started in May 2010 and has clients such as Jacques Terre'Blanche, Watershed, Jason Hartman and Daniel Baron as part of its portfolio. The company offers full public relations and radio plugging services.
