Formed in 1985, the four young men from New Zealand first gained success when they exported their music to neighbouring Australia. International success followed when their album, simply entitled "Crowded House", shot to the top of the US charts, later in the decade spawning hit singles with Don't Dream it's Over and Something So Strong. Subsequent albums delivered success in Europe as well with "Better Be Home Soon", "Fall At Your Feet", and "Weather With You".

The accolades soon followed and the band clinched an MTV Music Award, the 1994 Brit Award for International Group of the Year and dozens of Australian music awards.

New drummer

Following the death of their drummer Paul Hester, the three remaining band members: bassist Nick Seymour, keyboard guitarist Mark Hart and singer/songwriter Neil Finn, reunited in 2006 with new drummer Matt Sherrod. In 2007 they released "Time on Earth", followed in April 2010 by their sixth studio album, "Intriguer". Fans can expect to hear tracks off the new album as well as old favourites.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are available from Computicket priced between R263 and R466 each.
