    Tickets on sale for Afriski Winter Music Festival

    Those interested in attending the Afriski Winter Music Festival presented by Corona from 24-27 August 2017 can now purchase tickets on the festival's website.

    The Afriski WinterFest presented by Corona is an all out après-ski adventure for music, festival and snow junkies held at Lesotho’s Afriski Mountain Resort.

    Multiple activities

    For those down to dance, the slopes will come alive with a mountain of top acts from Lesotho and South Africa. The vibe is intimate, so you’ll rub shoulders; make snow angels and memories with Black Motion, Gangs of Ballet, Mo Cheque, Desmond & the Tutu’s, Rubber Duc and more. From rock and indie to electro, house and DnB there will be four stages and all tastes to choose from.

    For those who only go for the great outdoors, the warm, spring weather is ideal conditions for anyone learning to ski or snowboard. Your entry gives you access, a three-day Snow pass on Maluti’s slopes with snowboard and ski gear for rental throughout the festival. To add to the mountain adventure, Afriski also offers activities such as trail running, monster rollers, enduro trails and much more.

    The schedule

    Day one you’ll break the ice with some fun and (drinking) games. Day two, enjoy a day of tubing and leisure before getting dressed up to party the night away. Day three the festival goes full force and it will be time to take a crack at the Naked Ski Run, compete in “The King of the Mountain”, give pond skimming a splash and end off with the customary “Ski Burning” to light up the slopes one last time before heading home.

    Winterfest accommodation comes in all shapes and sizes, including lodges, chalets, apartments or Afriski backpackers. Day passes are also available for those wanting to pack all the sounds and snow into one day.
