The organiser, Fives Futbol, in partnership with Wessen Marketing and Totalsports, will give spotlight to an explosive mix of movement, music and spectacle, stimulating the synapses with a 'street meets football' experience bursting with kinetic energy.

With brands such as Red Bull, Adidas and Uber supporting this start-up event, it's sure to be a successful celebration of Cape Town's inner city energy and culture, complete with skilled performances and trendy beats.

The centrepiece of the event will be a 5v5 soccer pitch where teams compete in a one-goal-and-off, winners-stay-on, Fives Street Cup. The rest of the entertainment will surround the centre court and will include; Cape Town's 'King of Rap' and multi-talented music artist, Youngsta, MC-ing and performing a miscellany of his infectious hip hop sounds; Crate Collective's creative team of graffiti artists putting spray paint to board; Concrete Apostles, the city's best breakdancing crew, throwing down their moves and Red Bull's football freestylers showing off their skills.

The location of the event will be kept secret until match day when pre-registered spectators and 5v5 teams will receive an SMS/ email detailing all they need to know.
