Xzibit for one-off Joburg performance

American rapper, actor and host of the MTV show Pimp my Ride, Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, better known by his stage nameXzibit, will be playing a one-off performance in Joburg during the first week of December, 2012. The venue is yet to be confirmed.
Before hosting Pimp My Ride, Xzibit achieved fame in the West Coast hip hop scene as a rapper, debuting with At The Speed Of Life and gathering chart success with his follow-up albums "Restless", "Man vs. Machine" and "Weapons Of Mass Destruction".

After the cancellation of Pimp My Ride in 2007, Xzibitwent on to appear in various movie roles including: The X-Files: I Want to Believe, American Violet and The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, while Sony released his first greatest hits album, entitled "The Greatest Hits".

He also had the role of the Jabberwock in Malice in Wonderland, a short film based on the novel Alice in Wonderland, included on the rerelease of the Snoop Dogg album, entitled "More Malice". After having guest starred three times in the previous season, he was added to the permanent cast of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, where he is a part of the design team.

Xzibit will release his latest album on Tuesday, 9 October, 2012. He will also be on tour with Tashira during October and November before heading for SA. Ticket prices for the concert will range between R250 and R750.
