ADreach has given three Supalites to the value of R120,000 to Maid4U, one of the winners at the Shanduka Black Umbrellas regional enterprise development awards.
Shanduka Black Umbrellas (SBU) is a non-profit organisation involved in the support of emerging black businesses through enterprise development.
SBU has a long-standing relationship with ADreach, who have provided this inspiring initiative with free advertising for the last three years. The advertising has enabled SBU to make more people aware of the work it does and recruit new businesses for its incubators. Members of the ADreach team were at the Johannesburg incubator Enterprise Development awards and were so impressed by the winners that they offered the three main winners free advertising.
Maid4U is an employment agency, offering placement solutions to anyone who needs a helper, reliable maid, nanny or cleaners, part time or full time.
"Maid4U, is one of the major successes of this programme and we're delighted to be able to play our role in supporting them. We believe in the power of entrepreneurship and Shanduka Black Umbrellas really makes a difference by empowering the people who can help build our economy", said Brad Fisher, CEO of ADreach.
Businessman Cyril Ramaphosa called the 2009 launch of the innovative SBU initiative as the happiest day of his life. Since then more than 2,000 budding and established SMMEs have applied to become part of the SBU programme.
Companies can assist with monetary contributions, the donation of business related goods or services, participating in the volunteer mentor programme or providing procurement opportunities to businesses within the SBU incubators.
