NATIVE VML's "Seeds of Truth" and "bookly" have both won Finalist Awards at the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards® in the Design and Digital categories respectively.
Honouring the World's Best Advertising®, its 2014 winners were announced on 1 May at the New York Show gala held at the iconic New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

bookly is a sophisticated e-reader app for Mxit that delivers smartphone functionality to the most basic feature phone. 250,000 books have already been added to bookshelves, and bookly has now expanded into a writing platform, encouraging kids to write their own stories in their own language.
For the Seeds of Truth project, NATIVE VML and artisan coffee roaster TRUTH in Cape Town reinvented the takeaway cup by implanting herb seeds in the protector ring. The beautifully designed cups are also biodegradable, so that after finishing your cup of coffee it can be planted in your garden to sprout herbs.
