Junior Data Analyst
A leader in the healthcare market, committed to increasing access to affordable primary healthcare for all South Africans through its retail pharmacy and pharmaceutical wholesale businesses, is looking to recruit a
data analyst to work within its internal audit department, providing insights to the financial and IT audits through key data analysis of data relative to the objective of the audit.
Responsibilities:- Assist the audit team in the field by being responsive to data needs in a timely manner.
- Be the internal liaison between IT and the internal audit team to facilitate data needs for the audit team.
- Assist in investigations and other management requests as necessary by gathering, sorting, and otherwise making sense of necessary data.
- Proactively search for data anomalies that could be indicative of control issues.
- Work with internal auditors to understand data needs and brainstorm ways to perform audits more efficiently.
- Assist in implementation of a continuous monitoring framework using data analytics.
- Perform special reviews of operations when requested.
- Linking of different data streams and visualisations and graphic output; upskilling and SAS, ACL, Tablo, and visualisation tools.
Qualifications and experience:- Btech in info systems or BCom in IT or information systems or relevant commerce qualification
- MS Excel Advanced
- Proven expertise in the use of data analysis tools such as ACL
- 2-3 years data analytics experience
- 2-3 years financial systems or system auditing experience from big 4 preferable
- Experience in using visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI

Cape Town offering a cost to company from
R440,000 to
