In September 2006 Mundial Productions received an approval from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Development Co-operation to execute the Mundial on Tour program 2007-2010. this program entailed artistic and institutional support for artists and artists groups in developing countries and organizations who work in the field of culture and development.

Mundial on Tour program started officially with a partner meeting in Nairobi in January 2007. as an immediate result of the meeting the global network United Cultures for Development (UCDN) was created.
