Company credit maintenance, to ensure sales are maximised while risk exposure to organization is minimized.
Responsible for 5213 National accounts and 2815 Non National accounts to the value of R300 000 000.00 per month for SA & Namibia.
Ensure customer master data is correctly maintained.
Responsible for a centralised legal department. Including all legislation.
Working together with total debtors team to manage debtor balances, and, attorneys on debtor disputes, default litigation, and debt recovery.
Management of all legal accounts by advising attorney's of debtor's disputes, default litigation and of what action to take in an attempt to recover money.
Managing and training of 45 subordinates, to ensure effective collection techniques and procedures are followed.
45 TOTAL AR STAFF COMPLIMENT
Monthly DSO consolidated target of 32days, current achievement 34 days as result of projects and staffing constraints.
Initiated and currently heading up the AR bottling forum system within RSA.
Regular customer visits to enhance customer relationships, identify possible risk in industry and where possible identify possible business opportunities.
In conjunction with relevant Key account managers finalise customer trading agreements.
Resolving all pricing discrepancies in conjunction with relevant Key Account managers.
Assessment and authorisation of all new National credit application forms.
Assessment and authorisation of all new non-national account credit applications
Assisted with the implementation of SAP system in July 2003. Role included driving business process re-alignment in Sales order entry, sales settlement function and Credit control process.
SAP Accounts receivable module co-ordinator across the division
Total integration New Credit and Companies Act Writing of various other policies and procedures. Unclaimed credits, RD cheques, special events, driver policies, settlement and use of Acknowledgement of Debt and accurate use there off.
Responsible for National SAD Debtors budget and monthly forecasting accuracy.
