Stimulated by a background of artisans and enthusiastic patrons of the arts, there was little doubt my calling was destined for expressionistic endeavors. Enthralled by visual feats and captivated, specifically, by the enchantment of Walt Disney classics, my dreams were imbued within animated motion pictures.
I had the propensity to thrive as i strived for them. I adopted a practical approach of learning, abstracting applicable knowledge from every facet of experience. I progressed from being the student to the teacher, instructing craft workshops and tutorial sessions for the eager-minded.
Following which, I got recruited into the animation industry through an events production company called 'Don't Forget George', joining the concept department. I was charged with story outlining, character development and illustration work for a production called 'Purity', for which, me and my team traveled to the Annecy Film Festival to showcase.
Inspired with my serendipitous affair with feature animations, i found myself helping secure and develop one of the largest 2D animation contracts in Johannesburg, supervising the art department to develop outstanding background designs.
The experiences led me here to become one of the initiators behind establishing 'Mind's Eye Creative'. I had chosen a path in animation, emboldened by my accomplishments; it was a decision from which i was unlikely to err and a lifestyle, from which, i would never be deterred.
