Brandell Turner is an admitted attorney and public service consultant. His primary focus presently is legislative and regulatory compliance in public service institutions.

He is also a trainer offering basic legal training to senior and middle managers, aimed at increasing their legal savvy. These include disciplinary management, ethics, the law of contracts, business communications, privilege and confidentiality, etc.

Brandell has worked on various legal and management projects for various government entities such as the Department of Justice, the National Department of Water Affairs, The Western Cape Dept. of Local Government, the Western Cape Department of Transport & Public Works, the Dept. of Community Safety and various Municipalities nationally. He also provides legal support and labour relations advice to a host of other small and medium business organizations.

More recently Brandell has been assisting the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works where he provides critical advice on the National Land Transport Act and its Regulations and the implications for the Department. He has also been mandated to draft a provincial public transport law for the Western Cape which is due for promulgation in December 2012.

Brandell is also particularly active in development projects in the municipal arena where he acts a transaction advisor and fundraiser to various project teams of municipal and business persons and provides legal support for section 78 Municipal Systems investigations and the development of IDPs.
