ABC Ulwazi recently received the go-ahead to translate, produce and distribute new language versions of the highly successful children's radio series 'A Friend For Life'. The drama series, aimed at safe and sensible electricity consumption and use, has been one of ABC Ulwazi's most successful productions to date, with overwhelmingly positive responses coming from stations that broadcast the programmes. Mandla S. Nkuna, multilingual Educational Radio Producer has completed production of the series in 5 new languages (Tswana, Venda, Tsonga, Siswati and Ndebele).
