From local solutions to continental impact: The journey to 10 years of Tech Oasis Systems

In an industry where speed and innovation are the name of the game, Tech Oasis Systems has quietly carved out a legacy of meaningful, homegrown impact. As the company approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, this South African software development company continues to strengthen its position as a trusted name across the continent for building practical, intelligent solutions that serve real business and ministry needs.

Founded in 2015, Tech Oasis Systems started as a lean operation focused on solving everyday administrative challenges in local churches and small businesses. Today, its two flagship platforms – Breeze Invoicing Software and The Churches Software – are used in over 70 countries, demonstrating that African innovation is not only viable but exportable.

From local solutions to continental impact: The journey to 10 years of Tech Oasis Systems

Building Software That Solves Real Problems

“We’ve never been interested in building flashy tools that don’t solve real problems,” says Kurai Masocha, Founder and CEO of Tech Oasis Systems. “From the start, our focus has been on simplicity, scalability, and relevance.”

That relevance has been the company’s superpower. Breeze Invoicing Software, launched in 2019, offers AI-powered invoicing tools tailored for SMEs in emerging markets. The Churches Software, developed in-house for faith-based institutions, empowers pastors and ministry leaders to digitise administration and enhance member engagement.

Bootstrapped, Tested, and Trusted

Despite operating in a challenging economic environment, Tech Oasis Systems has remained bootstrapped and profitable. With a strong in-house team and a user-focused development model, the company has expanded its presence across Africa without compromising its core values.

“We grow by listening,” adds Masocha. “Every update, every feature starts with what our users are asking for.”

A Culture of Empowerment and Inclusion

From hiring first-time developers to leading digital skills initiatives in underserved communities, Tech Oasis Systems is also shaping the future of African tech talent. The team of eight reflects a mix of experience, innovation, and a deep understanding of the African context.

As the company moves closer to its 10-year milestone, Tech Oasis Systems is preparing for new product rollouts and deeper integrations with financial institutions, churches, and educational platforms.

“Tech can be a ministry. It can be a movement. And it can definitely be African-led,” says Masocha.
