HEINEKEN South Africa, in conjunction with our partner Namibia Breweries, is an important player in the beer and cider business in Southern Africa. Our goal is to inspire our consumers with our brands and activations, as it forms part of our HEINEKEN DNA to produce, distribute and sell brands that people love. With a strategy focused on sustainable growth, we believe we are in the right place to grasp the opportunities the South African market has to offer.
Our brand portfolio consists of 7 great brands: Heineken®, Amstel, Windhoek, Sol, Miller Genuine Draft, Strongbow Cider and Tafel. We continue to increase our portfolio by adding new variants and beers, to keep providing our consumers with a variety of choice.
We strive to be an employer of choice, firmly rooted in South Africa. We directly employ over 850 people, and have a wider impact with an external sales force of around 600. Developing our talent is one of the ways we aim to achieve our goal, as people are at the heart of our company.
As a company that endorses responsible consumption and as a part of the South African community, we are concerned about the issues of alcohol abuse in the country. We have hence committed ourselves to promoting responsible consumption through targeted campaigns and educational information.
