Simone Lipshitz

Founder and MD Simone Lipshitz manages the day-to-day operations of specialist PR company Headlines (www.headlinespr.co.za), as well as playing an interactive role in all of its accounts. In August 2011, Headlines celebrates its 15th anniversary, having grown over the years from a small, IT-focused operation to a successful business that services clients across the spectrum of business, from technology and finance to hospitality and leisure.

Simone founded the business on the simple principle of listening to what was needed and then acting on it. This strategy has served her well over the last 15 years, and the relationships that she and her team have built through this direct and simple approach have meant that they are able to serve their clients professionally and get the desired results.

With a healthy and varied client list, they have weathered the teenage years and the global financial crisis. The company has also evolved its services and now provides crisis communications and internal communications, as well as social media and online PR.

Simone is constantly on a mission to find compelling ways to add value to her clients and to provide specialist advice in strategic areas of communications and public relations. She has an in-depth understanding of how the media work and a keen appreciation of what is required by her clients.

She graduated from the AAA School of Advertising, where she studied advertising, marketing and rocket science.
