"This event was an opportunity for FNB to reinforce the values that drive their success on a day to day basis, as well as to recognise the superb efforts of their leaders over the past year," explains Kim Winstanley, MD and chief architect of Eventworx.
The conference featured guest presentations by the entertaining Postmaster Corrie Campbell, Peter Shrimpton of Heart Global and Steve Barnett, aka The Silent Conductor. FNB Commercial gave Shrimpton an unexpected donation toward his NGO, which turned out to be the single largest donation they had received in five years.
Following the presentations FNB held their internal awards evening, during which the accomplishments of various key personnel within the company were highlighted. Several of FNB's high achievers were also awarded with an exciting incentive trip. The charismatic Riaad Moosa was MC for the evening, giving guests a frequent attack of the giggles and keeping them on their toes with his keen observations.
"We were fortunate to have a world-class line-up of guest speakers for this event, each of whom delivered messages that went far beyond just a corporate or business application," adds Winstanley.
After the awards ceremony, guests partied late into the night in their own exclusively built club, with performances by beat boxer George and the hugely popular Flash Republic.
"While it was certainly challenging to set up multiple venues within the same location (each with their own look and feel), the Eventworx team provided seamless event support and ensured a memorable experience for all," says Winstanley.
Soon after the event, guests were directed to a custom-designed website which features video clips of the day's presentations, pictures, and a discussion forum in which guests can leave comments and suggestions.
