Congratulations CityVarsity for winning the Filmapalooza International Competition in Hollywood! On 10 March 2013, the five-member group was honoured with two nominations and an award at the Filmapalooza Film Festival, in Hollywood - California. Ecstatic animation students at CityVarsity College waved the South African flag high in the Dark Green Books Short Film and Video Competition 2012, when they walked away with the Author's Choice Award and came third in the main award category for their poem Passive Tense.
