We’re partnering with an established organisation to find an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join their IT team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Who are we looking for:
We’re looking for a technically strong leader who enjoys mentoring developers while remaining hands-on with code. You’ll take ownership of team performance, technical standards and delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly and solutions meet business needs.

What will you do:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of software developers.
• Stay hands-on with software design, coding and code reviews.
• Oversee development using .NET, C# and REST APIs.
• Plan sprints, allocate tasks and monitor progress through Azure DevOps.
• Maintain coding standards, software quality and secure development practices.
• Coordinate releases, production support and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Drive process improvements and the responsible adoption of AI development tools.

What will you need:

• A degree in computer science, IT or a related field.
• At least 7 years of software development experience, including 2 years in a team leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#), REST APIs and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum and pull-request workflows.
• Experience in people management, coaching and performance development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and clean architecture.

Vue 3, TypeScript, logistics systems and third-party integrations would be advantageous.
