MWEB Business contracts Eventworx to spearhead Business Partner Programmes

Event architects Eventworx were commissioned to organise MWEB Business' three Business Partner Programmes in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town in April 2010. In keeping with the countrywide excitement around the upcoming FIFA World Cup, Eventworx arranged exclusive guided tours of the main stadiums in each of the three host cities.
After their business breakfasts, delegates at each venue had the rare opportunity to visit state-of-the-art locker rooms, chat with stadium personnel, and even entered the field via the tunnel where some of the world's best will soon be making their own grand entrances.

In addition, Dr Roelof Botha, renowned South African economist, was invited to present at the gatherings and discuss the country's economic outlook. The delegates were treated to Botha's refreshingly positive and original take on financial matters, leaving them with a new and balanced perspective on where South Africa is today and where it is heading.

“The Business Partner Programmes were an opportunity for MWEB Business to connect with their corporate partners and showcase their new product offering,” explains Kim Winstanley, managing director and chief architect of Eventworx. “It was an invaluable exercise for the company, as it gave them an opportunity to engage with their clients in a fun, interactive, and dynamic environment.”

The programmes were held at Soccer City in Johannesburg, Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium and Cape Town's One and Only Hotel.
